CODES & STANDARDS – New
IMC Interlock Requirement. Good or Bad?
With
no real input from our industry, the IMC Code Revision Committee
approved a proposed revision that needs attention from owners and
manufacturers. Tom Johnson, NAFEM’s representative reports
that this proposal fails to identify any critical need and that “the
cost to industry is exponential with a detriment to public safety”.
Deadline for comment is June 6, 2005. http://www.jdpinc.com/pdf/IMCrevcommentsTJ.pdf
