The long developing story of the BAAQMD (Bay Area Air Quality Management District) conducting hearings into what new regulations will be enacted for char broilers in restaurants continues on. What seems certain is regulations will be approved that affect the owners of all broilers with more than a 10 square feet area of cooking. FCSI AWARD – New FCSI “Bob Pacifico Award” Goes to Brian Ward!
Bob Pacifico was a friend to anyone who met him including yours truly. His foodservice career was marked with many strong friendships. He was well known for assisting others. To mark his passing, FCSI created an award they chose to name the “Doing Well by Doing Good” Award.
