Fire safety officials are looking at ways to standardize the way data is submitted during the plan approval process. Currently in Illinois, no single process is in place. Full Story.

EDUCATION Harold Olsen, Program Director, University of Wisconsin School of Engineering is once again bringing his three day CKV course titled Kitchen Hoods and Supply Systems to the Chicago area. This detailed course using experienced industry experts is well scored each year by attendees, many of whom are from the AHJ community. The announced dates are May 16-18, 2005.
