CODES & STANDARDS

We invite new members to access the Codes & Standards database located under the RESOURCES tab of the website. Five organizations are posted, including ASHRAE, ICC, NFPA, NSF and UL. All of their documents relating to CKV or commercial kitchen ventilation can easily be located, only on the UP YOUR STACK™.com web site. Included are effective dates, errata and possible revision dates plus committee activity. Several other organizations will follow early in 2005 until this site is populated with every North American code and standard affecting CKV. This is the first database of its kind dealing exclusively with CKV.

PRODUCT DIRECTORY

The second major addition is the Product Directory. Once again, this is the first of its kind dealing exclusively with CKV. It lists thirteen categories of equipment that comprise commercial kitchen ventilation systems. We currently have 169 companies identified that manufacture listed CKV products. In this directory, each company is identified as to which of the categories they manufacture products for. Sponsored companies include complete contact information including website hotlinks direct to the company.

BULLETIN BOARD

The third major feature is a Bulletin Board available to members. Members can respond to postings or begin a new threaded discussion of their choosing.
